Spotify Playlists

Go to the Spotify Musicking for Now page and find a collection of playlists in various popular music styles designed to create a relaxing effect. Look for the playlists that begin with "Musicking:". Start at or near the top of the playlist and let the songs play in order. As the songs play, each one is a little slower and calming. A new playlist comes out each month.

These videos are 8 to 12 minutes long and focus on using music to:

  • Get connected with your person with dementia

  • Support conversations with your person with dementia

  • Help your loved one with moving from one place to another
